A hugely well regarded, high end, award winning architecture and design practice with an incredible roster of stunning global residential and hospitality projects is looking for an ambitious and dynamic finance professional to join their dedicated team.
This busy role, in which the successful applicant will manage the company’s finances and play a pivotal role in maximising the profitability of their projects, offers huge scope for further progression, and would especially suit a confident and client-facing all rounder who is keen to get involved across the board in a senior management role.
Based in stunning open plan offices in the heart of Central London with fabulous creative colleagues, you’ll be responsible for the full suite of accounting tasks and managing the financial aspects of their projects as well as ensuring the smooth running of the office.
The role will include but is not limited to:

Conducting bookkeeping, sales invoicing, and credit control

Managing and forecasting cash flow

Producing monthly management accounts and reporting on them.

Engaging in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Assisting with project pricing, client cash flows, and resource scheduling.

Analysis and management of departmental profitability.

Processing and handling management of payroll, the company pension scheme and staff benefits.

Submitting PAYE and VAT returns.

Collaborating with external accountants to ensure timely filing of statutory returns.

Oversight of the Admin Assistant

Management of HR functions, including annual leave requests, offer letters, contracts, and the staff handbook.

Oversee office management by liaising with the landlord, security provider, and insurers.

Provide support to the Managing Director in managing their personal finances.
Ideally, you will have at least five years’ experience and exposure to all elements of the job role and possess an accounting or technician qualification (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a very high level of attention to detail, a proactive and can-do approach, enjoy a varied role, want to partake in the company culture, possess great organisation and communication skills and be tech savvy (MS Office).
